Get Involved

Give

Every other novella is intended to be released for free, as part of a month-long campaign to raise money for orphans.

If you enjoy Fairy Stories, rather than paying for my free novellas please give an amount of your choice to orphans. Spread light in the dark lives of hurting children all around the world.

No matter how small (if you give the usual 99 cents that's fine!) your gift can go far in another country. The goal of this first campaign is to raise the hefty goal of $1,000.

If 100 people give $10 that's $1,000.

If 50 people give $20 that's $1,000.

If 20 people give $50 that's $1,000.

Note: Though the latest novella (the first "Fairy Stories" book!) is hopefully to be released soon, Fairy Stories is proud to launch by partnering with Miss Elaini in raising money for orphans in India, via 12 Days of Christmas. Read more here. If you wish to give, please e-mail me the amount at: rachel(dot)fairystories@gmail(dot)com and give here.

Pray

Pray that God would reach hurting little ones around the world. Eventually I'll be posting more specific prayer adventures you can embark upon, but for now, if you could pray for the work of Fairy Stories, and pray that God would move hearts to get involved and give- that would be amazing of you.

Note: Right now if you would put the 12 Days of Christmas campaign on your prayer list, that would be splendid!

Spread the Word

Fairy Stories is just now launching, but soon I will be posting plenty of pretty blog decor and other ways you can help to spread the word.

Dear Rachel Danielle,
Though you don't know me, I've read your stories since GHC and followed you to your blog, and your posts have brought me so much encouragment as a sister in Christ! They've brought me to tears at times, when you talked about surrendering your life and stories. That's what I'm having trouble doing, letting go of my stories, giving them to God. Though I'm completly broke right now [money] :] I want to help you as soon as I can. Thank you for everything! You've touched my life in a huge way. I'm in the prayer ministry at my church and will bring your request to our "prayer room" where others can pray for you! Will you pray for me as I am having difficulties in my walk with God?
Again, you don't know how much joy you've brought me. May God always bless you!

Aww, Tracy, this comment meant a lot to me. I'm curious... what was your GHC user name? ;) My fund raising for these precious orphans has gone quite slow lately, and that I have you and others praying with me is a huge encouragement! What changes everything is the fact that He loves us- that truth puts rocky patches (adventures!) and difficult surrendering into perspective.
I will certainly pray for you too, dear(going straight onto my prayer list)! Boundless blessings, and a happy holiday season!

Hi Rachel Danielle,
When I was a part of GHC, my name was Rochlia [Tolkien's elvish :] ].
I loved your 'Pure Heart' stories and drew a picture of the unicorn you created. I am no longer a part of GHC, because I'm busy writing a novel, doing online Bible studies because I'm a camp-counselor-in-training, and other stuff. I was sad when you left, and then all the familier writers started leaving, so I thought it was a good time for me to leave too.
On a slightly different note, I wanted you to know your posts about surrender have helped me so much. I actually copied one into a document on my computer a while ago just so I could read it over and over. You're an answer to prayer. I finally got another job [yes!] so hopefully I'll be able to contribute something soon. Keep me posted! Blessings!

Oh Tracy! These comments have meant more than I can say. I've printed them out to keep them as encouragement. I am praying for you, and thrilled that God could use something so insignicant as my pen in a significant way!
